A colleague asked you to connect Velocity
Someone at your company is learning with Velocity and has hit a wall they cannot get past on their own. On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, only the account owner can add a custom connector. That is you.
Velocity is a learning platform built on real work. A skill is a step-by-step procedure your team runs inside Claude, and every run writes a Value Impact receipt: what was done, how long it used to take, and what it saved. The connector is what lets Claude reach those skills and record those receipts.

Measured value, not activity
Every skill run writes a receipt against work that was actually done. You get hours and dollars saved, per person and per skill, instead of course completions.
You hold the switch
Adding the connector is an owner decision, and so is removing it. It applies to your organisation's Claude account, and each person can revoke their own Velocity connection at any time.
Skills run where your team already works
Once the connector is on, anyone asks Claude for a skill by name in claude.ai, the Claude mobile apps, or Claude Desktop.
Nothing for your team to install
No desktop extension and no local setup. Each person signs in to their own Velocity account once, and that is the whole thing.

Add the connector
These are the values claude.ai asks for: the URL, and the name if it asks for one. Nothing else is needed, and there is nothing to download.

https://velocity.forum/api/mcp- In claude.ai, open Organization settings, then Connectors. Choose Add, then Custom. If Claude asks for the connector type, choose Web.
- If Claude asks for a name, use Velocity Skills (Web). Paste the URL above, then choose Add. This adds it once, for everyone in your organisation.
- Now connect your own account: open Customize, then Connectors, find Velocity Skills (Web), click Connect and sign in to your Velocity account when your browser opens.
- Back in a chat, ask Claude to “show my Velocity Skill Board” to confirm it worked.
The first time Claude asks to use a Velocity tool, choose Always allow. A skipped or denied prompt means the run is not recorded.
Adding it connects nobody, you included. Each colleague connects their own account from Customize, then Connectors, and signs in as themselves.
Sign in at step 3 with the Velocity account you want the work recorded against. A different account records your work where you will not see it.
