Velocity Capture help
Signing in
Open the app and tap Sign in, then use the account you use on velocity.forum. Accounts are set up by your organisation. If you don’t have one, ask your Velocity admin: the app can’t create an account.
Recording an idea
Tap the mic and describe the task: what you do, the steps you take and how often. Tap Send when you’re done, Next idea to send it and start another, or Cancel to throw it away. A recording stops at 3:00.
Siri, the Action Button and Control Center
Say “Hey Siri, I need a Velocity Skill”. On an iPhone with an Action Button, go to Settings › Action Button › Shortcut and choose Velocity. To add the control, open Control Center, tap +, then choose Velocity and New Velocity Skill.
Notifications
Turn them on during set-up, or in Settings › Notifications › Velocity. We tell you when a Skill is ready, or when an idea needs you to choose what happens next.
Speech
Speech is turned into text on your iPhone. The first time, iOS downloads the speech model for your language, so use Wi-Fi.
Ideas you haven’t sent
With no connection, ideas wait on your iPhone and send by themselves when you’re back online. Signing out deletes any idea that hasn’t been sent.
Deleting your data
Email support@aicoaches.com from your account’s email address and ask us to delete your Velocity Capture data or your whole account.
